At the recent Vanity Fair party on February 22, Selena wore Nicholas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton. Nicholas has been Artistic Director of Women’s Collections at Louis Vuitton since November 5 2013.

Although Selena’s dress is not available to buy, the top below is from Nicholas’ Ready to Wear Spring 2015 Collection, and you can see the similar combination of diagonals and sheer fabric.

UPDATED: At the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2016 Resort Collection show on May 6, Nicholas featured Look 24, which you can see below, and it is a similar design to Selena’s dress.

On March 11th, Selena attended the Louis Vuitton AW15 Show in Paris.

Her dress (below) is from the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015 Collection and is available from June 2015.

You can see the dress below from the Pre Fall 2015 Collection, incorporates the yellow fabric we see on Selena’s dress:

This look incorporates the red fabric we see on the sleeves of Selena’s dress, and we can see a similar Petit Malle Monogram bag to the one that Selena is carrying, but with red trim:

Selena’s boots are also Louis Vuitton, as they are similar to the red ones from the Spring 2015 collection (see photo below – they have a tab at the back). The boots from the Pre- Fall 2015 Collection have more pointed toes than Selena’s boots.

Her bag is a new colourway of their Petite Malle Monogram bag £2,940. As the whole outfit has an early 1970’s vibe, it is likely that the black leather coat with shearling lining too is from the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall collection. Of course, back in the early 1970’s, jackets would have been suede, and the dress would have been a maxi, so Selena’s look is more Rock-Chic-Boho!

UPDATE:2nd May 2015 –  I have been in contact with Louis Vuitton, and they confirm that the Shiny Shearling Coat is part of their Prefall 2015 collection, reference F8LC04LEC, available June 2015.
